Kennedy Pinheiro Unites Design & Fashion in Brazil

Brazilian tastemaker Kennedy Pinheiro stages an editorial inside the country’s first designer-furniture gallery, pairing couture looks with collectible interiors. Explore how “Design Meets Fashion” breaks creative boundaries and sparks a new dialogue between style and space.

Fashion influencer Kennedy Pinheiro unites fashion and design in a new editorial that underscores the growing collaborative movement between these artistic fields in Brazil.

The worlds of fashion and design are converging, driven by collaborations that explore the intersections of these two creative realms. In Brazil, influencers are embracing the trend with fresh originality, forging innovative and aesthetically led links between the sectors.

Among the stand-out names is Kennedy Pinheiro, renowned for high-luxury fashion and beauty content. He has reshaped the way a male audience engages with these subjects, offering new visual and symbolic narratives that bring the topics closer to his community.

A co-founder of a creative studio specialising in architecture and design content, Kennedy’s deep connection with curation and design aesthetics inspired the incorporation of the “Design Meets Fashion” trend into his digital work. His aim is to show that fashion and design, though distinct in language, belong to the same movement: art. Both, he believes, inspire authenticity and expand the creative repertoire of his followers.

In partnership with Designers Group—Brazil’s first gallery dedicated solely to home-grown designer furniture—Kennedy has produced an exclusive editorial for Lewis Magazine. Fashion pieces and design objects are placed side by side so they may be contemplated through a single artistic lens.

With this initiative, Kennedy Pinheiro reinforces his position as a leading figure at the crossroads of fashion and design in Brazil, highlighting the creative potential of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Kennedy Pinheiro says:
“My idea was to encourage my audience to reflect on how artistic movements interlink. Even if each person feels closer to one field—visual arts, design, fashion, history or music—all deserve recognition and can indeed be presented together. Art has no rules; everything is part of a process of inspiration and expression. I also hope the content sparks meaningful conversations on my channels, treating fashion in depth—not only as a ‘get ready with me’ or ‘look of the day’, but revealing the genuine artistry behind how we express ourselves. That, too, is art.”

The editorial’s creative direction was led by Kennedy in collaboration with Prosa Branding. Design pieces were curated by Neto Tavares and Ana Leão de Moura, co-founders of Designers Group. Fashion curation and styling came from Kaio Assunção, with photography by Renam Christofoletti.

Kaio Assunção comments:
“When Kennedy suggested shooting inside the Designers Group gallery, I realised that fashion and interiors move in tandem, reflecting their era, stirring desire and prompting reflection. Even in their separate spheres, trends flow from one side to the other, as street style and the catwalks prove. Most people don’t consistently recognise fashion as art, but whether viewed as art, expression, a necessity or a business, fashion speaks to everyone.”
