Got to have it: Best new menswear of the week

Our Fashion Director’s pick of the best new menswear this week

By Michael Rathbone

This week, I’m excited to share some of my favourite new product launches from some of the coolest brands out there. From the latest Uniqlo x JW Anderson collaboration, to a super limited edition capsule from Stutterheim. What better way to spend the weekend than finding new style inspiration?

J.W Anderson has launched the latest in a series of seasonal collaborations with Uniqlo. Focus is on great everyday basics, in great quality fabrics and fits, with a fun twist from the designer. The collection features candy-hued stripes that appear on t-shirts, the rugby shirt is reimagined in bold primary colours, there is even a seahorse print that you can get in t-shirt, socks and bucket hat form, a true summer statement if ever there was one. This collection feels contemporary yet nostalgic in the best way.

Levi’s presents a collection full of nostalgia, with their Peanuts collaboration. Appearing across a range of denim, trucker jackets and accessories, Snoopy and friends add some cheeky charm to your wardrobe.

New from Stutterheim this week is this trench coat, the second drop from The Private Designs collection. The coat is crafted from a high-performance, luxurious cotton in jet black, paired with Stutterheim’s signature water-resistant coating. The vibrant red lining is a reference to the interior of a concert hall Alexander Stutterheim’s Grandfather once worked. Each coat is individually hand-numbered and will be extremely limited to just 30 pieces exclusively on

New from Baracuta is their iconic G9 jacket, reinterpreted in this black teddy fabric, part of their collaboration with Engineered Garments. Pair with a simple t-shirt and jeans, this jacket is a real statement piece.

With the unpredictable spring weather continuing this week, why not invest in a jacket that is both tailored and functional from Barbour International. This version is a lightweight take on the Duke waxed cotton jacket and features a lightweight cotton lining, a corduroy collar and gold toned stud fastenings throughout for a classic look.

I am always searching for the perfect waist pack. Not too bulky, but the perfect size to fit everything I need. I love this from cote&ciel. Inspired by traditional Japanese armour and crafted from a tactile grey fabric, I love the finishing touches of this bag, particularly the pop of fluro-orange.
